Any artists out there?

Here’s a dinosaur.

It’s a beautiful hand.

It’s very pretty and stylish. I like all the flairs you added. I can’t draw flairs. All my artwork is plain, raw, and honest, lol.
Why thank you. :D

I usually have trouble with that as well, but I was copying a picture. :D I wouldn’t know where to put them otherwise.

Woah, those are incredible! I love the Icewing poser, and the venom one! And the one that looks like a sunbeam snake. I was just thinking about that, making a dragon the colors of a sunbeam snake.
Have you read the How to Train Your Dragon books? It would be so cool to see your take on those dragons.

Nobody asked or cares but I’ve decided to share my drawing process. Four characters meant a few days of effort.
These are four hobbits from The Lord of the Rings as I picture them.
First: reference pic. I used a really ugly stock photo and edited out a lady. I also used other references and now know way more than I needed to know about tailoring a waistcoat.
First, just blobs. This is where I decide how to proportion everything and everyone in relation to the page so they’re on the same plane and at the heights I want them. 9718D304-15AD-4A94-AD35-57B8FD1E67BA.jpeg
Then I add the limbs where I want them.

Then I did each character one at a time from left to right so I didn’t smudge them with my hand (and I covered the remaining outlines on the right with a piece of paper.)
Here is the process for each character. First, I do curves, then edges, then clothes then facial features, sometimes in that order but not always. (Sam as an example.) 95254F48-38C5-4832-B9F3-672A7C20A332.jpeg
Then I add the fancy shading. 69371BE1-FD60-41AF-9C81-8CA4849C3E24.jpeg
I did that with all four and viola!
