Just wanted to stop in here and share my morning wake up and get motivated song with you all. Every morning I wake up, walk to the kitchen, hit the play button, and start breakfast before anyone gets up. It sets my mind up for a good attitude and leaves me smiling for the rest of the day. I do hope that someone reading this really gets the message and that it helps at least one person in their day. Enjoy!

I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Mother's Day for tomorrow!

I had to go buy a tiller today and was gone most of the day...when I came home my oldest boy had cleaned the whole house for me for Mother's Day!

He was supposed to be sleeping, as he worked last night and will be working tonight as well. I LOVE that boy! He does things like this for me quite often and always has. He also bought me a great Ipod and is filling it up with good music for me. God has blessed me greatly!

My youngest got me Food, Inc. for MD.

My middle son....I don't know yet...guess I will know tomorrow!

Hope everyone has a blessed day and hope all you mothers have children that will rise up and call you blessed!

yes, yes, YES! Sometimes, though, from personal experience, when you tell someone to show you what they've just said in scripture, they become a bit, well, put off. That shouldn't be! My DH is famous for that, challenging folks to show him in the Book. "Show me that in the Bible" shouldn't cause contention among the Body, right? And when someone says "I believe this...." or "I believe that...", I always want to tell them that it doesn't matter what you believe, it matters what the Bible says is true. Period. What you believe doesn't change what the Truth is. God said his Word is preserved forever, he meant it. If we don't have a preserved Word, we have an impotent God. And we know that is not the case. Might as well not believe anything at all if we have no "yardstick" to measure everything by.

The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.

Psalms 12:6

SOOO true!

SpeckledHen is spot on with her comment. What someone believes does not change what the Truth is. There is only one Truth or otherwise it wouldn't be the Truth.

One of the things I have found that can be a good witnessing tool is to look for when someone says "I believe..." or "I think..." and then engage them as to why that is. I have found that it always comes down to three camps. Either one has to come to the conclusion that they believe what they do because they have decided that in their own mind, or they believe that 2nd Timothy 3:16 is absolute Truth and that God has decided the way things are, or they believe the Bible but choose to disobey it and rebel against it - which basically goes back to #1 and they choose to create a god in their imagine rather than accepting that they are a creation of God in His image.

Sadly we are seeing way too many churches and Christians choosing to believe what the conjure up in their own minds instead of just obeying what Scripture says. Resorting to their own wisdom instead of God's Word and their own ways instead of trust God in all their ways.

Case in point, I was served with divorce papers today by a woman professing to be a Christian and who thinks she's in a right standing with God Almighty. For you Prayer Warriors, would you lift her up and ask God to open her eyes and heart that she might see the Truth.

God Bless,
