I knew at least one was a boy. It was painfully obvious at a week old (his name is actually "KnotHead" hahaha~most embarrassing name ever for such an intelligent guy. He is the good guy out of the 3). I took what was leftover and hoped for the best on the other two.

It's basically a naked neck silkie. I think they're absolutely adorable in their own way. I recently incubated and hatched a silkie that in my opinion, is the cutest thing I've ever laid eyes on. My Dad that isn't really a chicken person, actually loves this bird. Her name is "Fancy Nancy". She's too flipping cute! Then again, not everyone loves silkies. That's the beauty of this community

Shhhhh! I haven't heard "but I still need showgirls, mom. You've got most of your favorite breeds. I'll help and take care of them, I promise!" in several days now. Oddly enough, I'm wanting some now. We still haven't sexed the last 14 chicks plus, all but 2 are crested and a crested bird is my weakness. I flipping love crested birds! :-( Seriously, I don't even want to admit to the number of roosters and cockerels I have. I heard one of the little chicks practicing his crow this morning....... Cutest thing EVER!

I’m soooo not introducing my daughter to this site 😂😂. Y’all will have her wanting ALL the chickens.

One of my roosters has a cute crow. The Rock rooster has a crow that will wake the dead 😂
