Comb size and comb redness are not good indicators. However, a lot of red skin on the face is roosterish. I never go by comb size.

I look at the size of the legs, especially the thighs. Boys have big, sturdy, long legs. They also stand up taller, with a more upright posture, than the girls.

Give it time, it just might be a pullet.
