Any EE cockerels? I hope so!!

don't see your kind of thread too often of someone hoping a youngin is a roo, haha.

Too bad you are so far away, I have 19 EE babies and I know at least half will be ROOS !!!!! and they can't stay here. haha.

Maybe I should do like you, hope for roos, and end up with all girls.
Lucky you. Pretty girls they are too.

groaners!!

You can have my EE roo free! He is going to be VERY pretty! He is 8+ weeks old this week, he is 7 weeks in the picture. He is very tame and hand raised:

How about this one?? (same age as the others) This is the one that I posted in the first post. Still a little unsure on the gender. LOL Doesn't have a name yet!

This is "Beulah" never figured out her cross. She is an Easter Egger but I'm not sure what else is in her. Interesting conformation though.

A better picture of the silver bird ("Ever Clear"). She is sooo purty!

And just for fun...

My silly crossbeak chicken. She still peeps and is a little smaller than the rest but is otherwise doing good. She is so sweet though otherwise she would be BBQ!

I have an EE X Araucana roo that is 5 months old. He is georgous. Very sweet boy. Would love his own girls. You can have him if you want to come get him and give him a good home.

If you are interrested let me know and I will send you pics.

Uh oh groaners check it out, that sounds like a special roo! Her BYC page says she's in Willits!!! What a coincidense! Might be a better match and a lot less driving. You need to pick your roo! I can find another home for Sundae if you want to take up Lanae on her roo. You should only have one roo for 8 hens. Better for the hens and the roos too.

PS- editied to add I think you should hook up with this lady, you have a connection for some pretty birds and eggs right in your backyard!

I love Ever Clear (the bird not band). What did she look like as a baby? I have a white EE and I am hoping she won't stay pure white...

I had a white EE and I have pictures of him on my BYC page under "my chicken page". You can see him as he grew into a roo (and then had to find a new home). He was really pretty, and I've seen some gorgeous dove like white EE's on the forum.

My guess is everclear look liked a light chipmonk as a baby. She is a silver duckwing color now. It is my absolute favorite color in the araucana's.

If you have a white one it may get some darker feathers but will probably stay mostly white.

I will go take a pick of my silver duckwing EE roo Chip Chipersen and post them. He is a doll. He has a permanent home here if no one takes him, and I can probably find him a girl or two to keep him happy.
