I’m going fishing tomorrow

We just leisurely fish on small lakes nearby. Mainly for crappie or saugeye. I caught a nice saugeye a few weeks ago.

Ice fishing catches from January and February.

This was a decent smallmouth that I caught on the Spokane river when I went up to help my grandparents move down last week.

That must be a Gulf Coast word, we use gigging here in Louisiana also

Gigging. You go out at night with bright lights, find the flounder, and stab them with a gig.... like these two.

So neat. We’ve gigged frogs, but don’t think we have any flounder around here. Is that the best way to catch them?
