I dont own a Wii. Skipped over that entirely. I have gameboy, gameboy color, N64, PS1, PS2, Gamecube, Dreamcast, Xbox, Xbox 360 and the Switch. I also have an emulator on the Raspberry Pi so I can play Sega and Super Nintendo games. I was never a fan of the Wiimote.

I'm too stingy to buy a switch. Since I'm not as into games now it seemed pointless.
I'd rather spend my money on my chickens or books.
There aren't any switch games I want to play enough to buy a switch.
How can you have that collection and yet skip over the Wii and WiiU?
Like, sure. Now I suppose there's no point in buying a Wii since you have the switch.

I've done the Yiga clan base a few times. I have a habit of restarting games way too often. I hate being overpowered so I usually chuck my best weapons.
Not played Skyrim and honestly never been interested in it.
I'm starting to lose interest in games. I can never find ones that I actually like.
Zelda came fairly near. Minecraft worked for a while. Every now and again I'll go back and find a game I used to play....Harvest Moon. Animal crossing.
The Sims. Professor Layton.
I do like open world games without a story. I like using my own imagination, if I can find it. I'm very fussy.

Do you like dinosaurs? If so you should check out ARK.

Downside is the game files are so big they will eat your entire computer and I wish that was an exaggeration. It's a great game tho.

Do you play The Isle? I have fun with it, but the new Evrima update isn't really worth playing atm, so for now I'm sticking to the previous version.

Though with everything going on with it lately, I might be switching to Path of Titans.

ARK - what's it like?

Hmm, it's an open world game with crafting and not many goals per say like Minecraft. You wake up in a world and just exist in it. If you go on a server you exist with other people who may or may not be friendly based on the server. But the crafting system is focused more around practicality. The goal is to survive and build up enough cool stuff to fight the bosses. There's also a loose storyline told through a series of dozens and dozens of explorers notes, research notes, and journal entries scattered across the map in ruins. There's several bosses per map (3-4 with 3 difficulty levels) as well as seasonal events with hats to collect. (And by hats I mean skins, emotes, loot, decorations, sometimes actually hats, etc.)

It's beautiful, the graphics are amazing. The maps are big and dynamic but consistent, a map is a map there's no randomly generated world, it's the same every time. However they're so detailed you can spend years on a map and still be finding new things and there's like 3-4 free ones.

And then the most important thing is that you can tame and ride dinosaurs. Or get eaten by them if you are clumsy. TBH you will get eaten a lot. A lot of the game is focused on using the animals on the map (I say dinos but there's also many other prehistoric creatures) to survive and get the items to fight the bosses. But in many areas just surviving is hard enough. (Other maps also have lots of alien robots and some fantasy creatures.)

Here's a shot I took from an old server I was on a while back with a T-rex, a raptor, and an argentavis (giant eagle). Knowing souls may spot a paraceratherium on the left and a tiny stone house in the background.

I haven't played any map but The Island because they files are so big I'd have to uninstall everything else on my computer to hold another map. XD My SSD is only 256.

it came out in my sophomore year of college. My boyfriend at the time worked at a Gamestop and had one preordered. He played twilight princess on it nonstop for a while. When I eventually got to play I had already played the version on my gamecube. I hated how confusing the controls were. Honestly unless theres a specific game I want to play I dont buy a system. I got the switch JUST to play Zelda. Because they released the GC version for Twilight Princess I didnt see the point on getting the Wii
