I’m a child of the 80s and the 90s. I used to be a hard core gamer until my early 30s. Then I just ran out of time to play. I’ve missed out on some great games in recent years. I have a tendency to hit Gamespot and buy a bunch of blockbuster games when they’re 3-4 years old and then only get around to playing a portion of them.
The best recent experience I had was Skyrim on PSVR. Skyrim was one of those games I missed out on during its original run. Wow, what an experience playing thru it in VR. When I was into it I wouldn’t tell my wife I was going to “play” Skyrim for a while, I would tell her I’m going “in to” Skyrim for a a while as if I was visiting an alternate reality for a while.
I will spend time playing retro games. I still have most of my childhood systems and games. I really like emulating them in HD.
