I’m a member of generation X, anyone else? How have you adjusted to the “new” world of the internet, social media, and the erosion of constitutional rights 😬?
What about cell phones? When I was younger everyone who called my house had to speak to my mother first because we only had a landline.
What do you love about the new millennium, and what things do you wish stayed the same?
If you’re from another generation, what things do you miss, or never got the chance to experience?

I'm Gen X... I remember growing up with a corded rotary phone, and our first couple of TVs, I was dad's remote. LOL I was a latchkey kid, who rushed home to watch Punky Brewster and Thunder Cats and Gummy Bears. LOL
The earliest phone I remember us having is one of those fancy “wireless” phones that had a corded base. I loved punky Brewster!

The worst part is definitely the erosion of constitutional rights.

I'm genx. I remember the long curly phone cord stretched from the kitchen to another room so you could have privacy on the phone. I remember when CD's came out. I remember hair metal. I remember news at 6pm or in the newspaper. I remember the Dewey Decimal System.

I'm also in tech and have been online since dial up BBS' were a thing. I am not particularly fond of how rapidly garbage and misinformation can spread today, nor the majority of humanity's apparent total incompetence in actually fact checking to figure out if it's true or not. The internet has definitely united the world, but sadly, it's at the lowest common denominator. I weep for our future.
