The lady I got her (him?) from said she thought they were from a Lavender Orpington roo over an Easter Egger but this chick looks like such a mutt I can't really tell any features of either, other than some faint brown patterning on the very edges of the wings. The lady also had other breeds than the EEs with the lavender roo, but I didn't get much of a look at her stock because a huge storm was coming and I was trying to get in and get out with my chicks.
This is at four weeks. It is five weeks now and the comb is no bigger or pinker, still yellow, so I'm holding out hope it's just a gangly pullet. I wish I'd spent more time looking at the stock. It was a good-looking Lavender Orp daddy though.
