you have a SLW and the brown one is either a GLW or a Barnevelder. if it's a barnevelder it's a roo. if GLW it's a pullet. SLW is a girl.

Not a barnevelder - they have single combs, not rose combs.

Well, technically Wyandottes are supposed to have rose combs as well... I do have a couple that don't, but they are supposed to. So, that can't be the differing (sp?) factor.

Personally, the brown chick doesn't look like a GLW to me, I have 19 babies in my livingroom, and they don't look anything like that. I do, however, agree on the SLW, for the black chick.

One is a SLW pullet, the other is not a GLW. I honestly can't tell what it is but its not laced, its pencilled and looks to have a small pea comb.
