Any Home Bakers Here?

I guess I'm in the living dangerous club too. Drink raw milk, eat farm fresh room temperature eggs, taste my flour and eat raw dough. But then again, with the exception of my bread and all purpose flour, I know the person who grew the grain, that I grind into flour.

:thumbsup

Question for you guys - I am making lasagna for supper and am going to use homemade noodles. Do I have to boil the noodles before assembling the Lasagna, they will be fresh, straight out of the pasta roller? It will bake over 1 1/2 hours in the oven.
I give mine a dip for 3-4 minutes, so they have a little more bite than aldente and then cool them on an oiled baking rack.

I made the most interesting casserole last night with tator tots
9x13 baking dish bake in a 350 oven
use a large bowl to mix all ingredients
whatever meat I used sausage that time
1/2 cup milk
1 cup sour cream
it called for 1/2 cup of chicken stock
using sausage I added 1/2 cup water
1 1/2 cups of cheese shredded I used colby-jack
so quick and simple and it tuned out yummy

From my experience, home made noodles take a lot less time to cook. I would cook them for the three to 4 minutes like Robert suggested

HELP...I have a Rusty Vingage Universal Bread Bucket. I would like to CLEAN it (may not be safe). Does anyone know what I am talking about? I am scrubbing it with SOS pads. Googled it: one says use fine sandpaper.
It is a NEAT bucket, large, has a turn handle to knead and a clamp to clamp on a chair while kneading. HELP...how to clean? Aria

you're just trying to clean out the rust right? a 400 or 800 grit wet paper will get you there faster than SOS, but steel wool will generally get you there too.

Agree, you have to cook the noodles. 2-5 minutes - lasagna noodles should be still firm when you layer.
