I'm trying to decide what to bake today. I have 3 cookie recipes to try, and only have time for 1. So which should it be?

1) Coconut macaroons (thanks @wyoDreamer )
2) Shortbread
3) Sugar cookies (have a new recipe for them)
You have to pick just one?

Christmas is coming up and ziplock bags in the freezer will keep them fresh!

I need to start baking for Thursday— and shopping— Going to be Fun!

I already did my shopping for Thursday, glad to have that out of the way.

Can't make too much ahead of time (speaking of cookies)...we have a chest freezer but it's small and full. It'll be a little emptier after Thursday ;)

Me, too! Well, bought everything but the fresh cranberries (for sauce), and some fresh whipping cream. Didn't want to buy those too far ahead. Already put the turkey in the fridge to thaw, and then we always brine it in a maple/apple brine - so good!

I usually like to try at least one new recipe each holiday - this Thanksgiving I've decided to try a no-bake apple dessert with lots of creamy calories! Nothing against apple pie, but wanted something a little different this year. Hope it turns out - it looks really good. :drool

Your no-bake apple dessert sounds interesting...you'll have to let us know how it turns out!
