Any Home Bakers Here?

I do not know we watched a video maybe because we both are left handed tired and failed made them three times still roll out cut
The recipe I used said to make a log if the shaping was not easy to do. You then put slashes on the top of the log when you are ready to bake it

think we use the same one compared them at a time and yes mine said to do the slashes or you had me add it I do not recall which I keep the recipe file in my documents still have microsoft office
 
Last night I made roasted cauliflower w/parmesan, and then cheated a little by using store bought tortellini covered with pasta sauce, meat & cheese.
You can get some very good tortellini in the store now.
 
Anyone ever make stollen? My son is making some tonight for a school project. Normally, I can't stand any kind of bread or pastry with fruit in it but this is looking like it might actualy be good lol
It depends on the fruit used.
I like bread with candied ginger and candied orange peel
