Chocolate Caramel Monkey Bread

Ingredients
  • Bread dough
  • 3/4 cup warm milk (not hotter than 120°F)
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons dry yeast
  • 1 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 cups flour
  • 40 Hershey's Caramel Kisses
  • Sauce
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  1. Mix first five ingredients together and let sit for about 10 minutes. The mixture should turn foamy.
  2. Blend in butter and egg.
  3. Add flour and mix together to make a soft dough - don't knead.
  4. Cover and let rise for 45 - 60 minutes until puffy.
  5. Roll out to an 8" x 10" rectangle. Cut the rectangle into four even pieces. Then cut each piece into 10 equal portions.
  6. Wrap a Hershey's Kiss in the center of each piece of dough. Pinch to seal the dough around the kiss.
  7. Place the balls in a buttered bundt pan. Mix melted butter and vanilla to make the sauce. Pour over the top of the bread. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes.
  8. Bake in a 350°F oven for 20 - 30 minutes until golden on top and crisp on the outside.
  9. Turn the hot bread onto a rimmed plate. Drizzle caramel and hot fudge sauce over the top.
  10. Serve warm.

I guess this is the perfect place to ask! I can’t remember the recipe conversion for eggs. In this case, I need to know if a duck egg is worth two large.
Go by the weight of the eggs. A large egg is 56G so use the equivalent weight in duck eggs. Two large eggs would be 112G
