No clue but I have 3 of the 4 on the porch and nobody is on the roost tonight. This is this first time I haven't had a chicken o'clock in almost a year.Did the Dog hide one?
I should stop trying to rescue down here. Nena just killed all my chicken today!
I really want to cry they all had names from my wife, Bobbette is dead Molly too. Our last four survivors are all gone! Under Texas Law thdog is now a coyote and I can kill it by any means it was smart enough to find a hole in the fenceline and get itself gone. I am sorry to admit this publicly but I want it dead.
I’m really sorry.I did find the fourth one so she killed my entire flock! If I ever see that dog again... it wont be pretty.
My advice to all fathers is to offer DD $10K to elope... It's much cheaper and stress free. I've done both and truly know the difference. When DW and I got married (for real), JP in a college dorm with a six foot sub for a wedding cake. Less than $200 tops. Second time was for show and cost like $4000 (1980 $$$$s). When DD went for it, OMG cost a fortune, but I knew I was doomed when DW asked me to meet them at the dress shop... UP until then it was going to be a small affair with just immediate family, not 450 people in a fancy hotel.
X2
Well here are the pix from the doughnuts. Mine aren't as pretty as pioneer woman. I have the rubber band thingies that fit my marble roller, but I like my french cut maple roller better. Next time I'll use the other one. Oh and BTW, holes are a PITA to cook. They hate to flip. On the taste front they are yummy... DIL said she had to have at least two more to offer an opinion. I didn't use the cast iron pot for the oil as I'm lazy I used my emril deep fryer.

I understand how you feel! We got a German Shepherd pup last July and she was good all summer other then charging through them...we went out for supper one night and the girls weren’t locked up yet and she went into the coop and raised he**. We couldn’t find 1 of the 2 missing. The next morning we found the leftovers in her bed. She had found it and eaten it in the short hour we had let her out that morning. About 6 weeks ago I let my guard down and she went into the coop when the girls were heading in for the night and attacked again. This time she ripped most of the feathers out of the back end down to the meat of one of my favorite girls. I didn’t think she’d make it but she’s doing well. I was lucky I came out when I did. I love my girls and I had a hard time with my dog after that. She knew what she did was wrong but I won’t trust her anymore. I’m truly sorry for your lossI really want to cry they all had names from my wife, Bobbette is dead Molly too. Our last four survivors are all gone! I would not want to see themMy wife will be back tomorrow from Florida visiting family. Should I have the girls already buried or do I need to wait for her?
