Anyone else get annoyed with meats that don’t have the weight printed on it? Of my six siblings, only one other has a food scale. Very obnoxious.

Pressure canning will not crisp up the ham.

It will be good way to preserve the ham.

Did you get a whole ham? I saw one at the grocery outlet last week and almost bought it.

No, I didn’t expect it to crisp (canned bacon is still pliable). I just didn’t want to except it to be suitable for a dinner, but end up with ham salad.
It’s a spiral ham I was given as an Easter gift... 2017. It’s just over four pounds. I was afraid if I didn’t cook it soon, it would get freezer burned.
