Any Home Bakers Here?

I don’t know why people call me Abi. Though people in my husband’s family (and my husband the day after our wedding:rant ) call me Debbie because wife #2 was Debbie.

Agh, that's awful!

Sometimes people call me Becky. Which is weird, that was my sister's name and the people that make that goof don't even know about her.

Hello,

I just wanted to let you all know that my grandfather, who is a Master Chef, I mentioned him earlier, he is out of surgery. He went through with flying colors, and he will be okay.

I cooked for my grandmother a recipe I found that was a big hit at my house. Here is the recipe.

I left out the crushed red pepper because she does not like spice.

Jared, glad to hear your grandfather's surgery went well!

Does anyone have a shortbread cookie recipe? Following my
eye surgery they offered me coffee and cookies. The cookie was a package of Lorna Doone. I never buy cookies, and am not familiar
with shortbread cookie. I really enjoyed them and purchased a
package. The package has individual packages. Perhaps you know? I would like to make my own shortbread (Lorna Doone) type cookie. Regards, Aria

I actually have one I made
SHORTBREAD
1 1/2 Cup unsalted butter, softened
3/4 Cup sugar
3 1/2 Cups AP flour
Cream the butter and sugar thoroughly.
Add flour gradually, one cup at a time. Mix until well blended but don't over mix.
Roll into 1" balls and place on parchment paper covered baking tray.
Stamp the dough with the warm cookie stamp.
Bake at 325* for 15-20 minutes.

I saw a 2 ingredient fudge recipe. I decided to make pumpkin fudge since I already had pumpkin sitting on the counter. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the other ingredient, so I had to make it from scratch. If it turns out, I’ll let you know!
Also, I was about to refill the salt shaker on the stove. I happened to look in, and saw ... :sick fruit flies.
