What kind of squash are you going to bake DMC? :drool

We'll get up to about 70* here today (it's 38* now) but next week there's a possibility of snow!
Ugh, I hate snow! Butternut squash, got it coming out my ears.

Double Chocolate Sourdough Walnut Loaves

1 box dark chocolate cake mix

1 cup active sourdough starter

1/4 cup vegetable oil

4 large eggs

1 cup sour cream

pinch salt

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 teaspoon espresso powder

1 cup bittersweet chocolate chips

1 1/2 cups roughly-chopped walnuts


In a large bowl, mix everything except the chocolate chips and walnuts (about 50 strokes, just until it all comes together). Fold in the chocolate chips and walnuts. Spoon evenly into two loaf pans sprayed with flour-added baking spray. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour or until a tester comes out with just moist crumbs clinging to it.
 
I haven’t tried it. t’s too much chocolate for me.
It should be ok for chocolate. It looks dark in color because of the dye in it from the cake mix used.

Switch to semi sweet chips and use a milk chocolate cake mix
 
Still too much. I’m not that into chocolate.
