It is very old and can raise bread very well, and faster than normal sourdough, without yeast.

YES. Ron I mixed the recipe last night. In the AM worked very
gently in the LARGE bowl and placed in the greased tin. It raised
from 9am to 11 am...right to the top of the tin. It was so easy...
thanks to you and your directions....and it will taste good...and is
healthy. Thanks again, Aria

I have it working now the tension was way off still need to raise the feed dogs they do not touch the fabric bought a manual suppose to be email but no sign of it yet also want to change the needle but had it sewing zig zag and straight stitch

I have my Mom's Old Singer and it has seen a lot of fabric. I just
make Rice Bags ...plain straight stitches. And I have quite a time
making the bobin Can't even spell it....Sewing is NOT my strong suit. Aria

I have never liked a Singer bit think that comes from my Ma that always had a viking but learned herself on a white treadle, I learned hand quilting with my Grandmother as my vision was taken by Graves I went to get a machine ma told me get a white and I did one made in 1930 then went to my husqvarna viking I recently sold my white so others could enjoy her using the viking more... recently decided to buy a backup and always respected the Necchi machines a older unit came up for sale for 55 I got it..

I have my mom’s old machine. I want to do a quilt. I tried many years ago with my moms help but it turned out terrible. She did beautiful work but made me do it all myself. I still gave it to hubby for our first unmarried Christmas together. It was made with love(and several swear words).

My Ma was look at something in a store she could sew it did all of our clothes till I went to college after that she made me skirts to work in for years.. She did not pass that talent to me I can make quilts but basic patterns ..
