My son asked me to make this for Easter. It’s a strawberry lemonade poke cake. I used a cake mix. I don’t remember the last time I used a boxed mixIt’s not bad but can’t say I’d make it again. Son hasn’t tried it yet.

I wanted to tell you all I did some research about the meat grinder I found at the thrift store. According to my research, there's no doubt this is a vintage meat grinder. I'm trying to figure out how old it is. Some sources say it's almost 100 years old. I'm not sure if this is accurate or not.

Anyway, I'm getting help with finding out details about this meat grinder from the people on another Forum that specialize in treasure hunting, which includes thrift store shopping.

A vintage meat grinder? I bought it for $10?

Anyway, I am also making desert right now for Easter dinner. I'll post a picture of the dessert and the Easter dinner when the time comes.

Well, I just confirmed it. According to the people on a treasure hunting forum, this meat grinder is about 80 to 70 years old. It was used between 1950 and 1940 approximately.

That was a good find.

Good of you to give it a home I love the old things from my grandma like that have bought others for this home always on the lookout we shop at thrift or charity store often

I love their recipes but my own potato salad is from Grandma add a bit spices of my own but hers was over a 100 years old .. disappointed myself with sourdough biscuits they where not fully baked in the middle so composted them all making plain old yeast biscuits second rise happening now

I don't use box mixes either.
