Just got a survey BYC. I did it. And it had gifts to choose from
for doing the survey. Had to pay shipping. And then something of
a free trial. EEK. Did not want. Clicked out. Did anyone else
get something like this.? I usually do not respond to this stuff.
Guess I will continue NOT to respond. Aria

Glad you didn't respond Aria, that doesn't sound like anything BYC would send out.

How do you fix those Auroradream? I'm a big fan of mushrooms but haven't seen any like those around here.

Just slice them up and fry them in butter. DH leaves them patty sized and fries them up to make a "burger" with them. He and DS are trecking out in to the words to bring home more today.

That is a nice fish!

@ronott1, there's an interesting story about the fish. I didn't post it yesterday, because I was getting ready for Mother's Day weekend. Here's what happened.

Before I start, keep in mind I'm not the kind of fisherman who exaggerates his stories.

I was walking along the path of Wilson Springs pond, while walking, with my fly rod in hand, I see this massive trout in the Shallow Water Swimming slowly. I got my fly ready, and I put my fly in front of him.

No bite.

After 10 minutes of following him and trying to get him to bite my fly, he did. I hooked him right away. I was so excited that I yelled out, "I GOT HIM! ITS AN 18 INCHER! ITS AN 18 INCHER!"

( looking back now, I shouldn't have done that, but, I was excited in the moment. Oh well.)

I immediately got the attention of the other 9 fisherman there. They all came to me, and were watching.

I got the fish in, and pulled him out of the water. Everybody there was amazed at me. They were all getting pictures, which I didn't mind at all. One guy said to me, "I have never seen a rainbow trout that big. He looks about 2 years old."

Well, that's the story.

I'm cooking it today, so I will post the recipe I use, as well as pictures of the cooked fish later on.

That is a nice Story, and you have the pictures to prove it!

You're not going to believe this, but for the first time in my life, I had to help a family out who were searching for a missing child. I was at Wilson Springs fishing for trout, when I overheard them across the street yelling out the kids name. After I heard them say "call the police," I reeled in my line, and went over there. They asked if I had seen 3 year old girl. I did not, but I asked if they needed help looking for her. Sure enough, they needed help, so me and a bunch of fisherman from the pond came over to help look.

After the sheriff arrived, the child was found unharmed and safe.

I didn't get a fish, but I did something more important than bringing home a fish.
