Any Home Bakers Here?

Buy our flour ap at Costco 25 lb at time takes me a month made sourdough today
I get my flour there too!

I am ok on sourdough but will make loaf bread this weekend.
I just took out a loaf of sourdough bread from oven (my 2 pound loaf)...
need to make Floyd's Rolls soon. Weather has been Fall here
with tons of rain. NOT SPRING. Wind blows following rain. NASTY.

We are cooler until Monday. We are in the 90s currently and will be in the low 100s next week

Okay, now that my family's out of the house, I can say this. They went to Utah, and I'm staying here at the house to take care of my dogs and rabbit. I'm going to have a surprise waiting for them when they get back on Sunday. I'm going to be baking a whole bunch of bread for them. I'm thinking of making french bread, wheat bread, sourdough bread, french bread, and another bread Artisan Style.

When they walk in the door from their trip and see all the bread, I think they will laugh and enjoy it.

Besides the bread I mentioned, is there anything you think I should add to the list? I'm grinding the wheat into flour right now.

Maybe a pie or some chocolate chip cookies! That and lemonade after a long trip is priceless

The last two loaves for the day are in the oven right now. I'm going to cook The Artisan loaves tomorrow.

By the way, this is off topic, but I thought I'd tell you guys. It looks like my brother is going to be having major surgery on his nose. Going to be happening late June early July. Looks like I'm going to be cooking for him while he is recovering!

Your really going out for them they will be surprised good for you
Did think to take photos tonight stew meat on kabobs, fried potato
brussle sprouts fried in peanut oil salt and pepper,I only use enough oil to come
halfway up the sprouts but prefer that to any other way

Good morning all! Here is the French bread, the wheat bread, and The Artisan Style bread. It turns out that the white bread I cooked yesterday, well, there was a problem. I don't know what happened. The loaves basically collapsed on themselves. It's possible I undercooked it. I'm trying a different recipe, because the one I used has some confusing parts and typos, maybe that was it. White bread is cooking now.

That usually happens from over rising. either too long for the second rise of too much yeast

I bet it is still tasty though!
