According to my DH (he's from the UK), Yorkshire puddings are just bread. Though I think they might taste good with some meat, veggies, or cheese.

From the recipe and the picture, it is a cross between a muffin and a popover.

I have been wanting to try making them for some time now. The British baking shows get to me like that! And now I am watching one from Australia LOL

It was fun to make! Oh, one important tip! Do not open the oven door until they are done because doing so can cause the to collapse.
