Any Home Bakers Here?

I made noodles once and they were really good. But my arms are weak and it's hard for me to roll them out as thin as I would like. I'm waiting for delivery of a pasta roller and cutter from KitchenAid so I can make them again to make chicken soup. Drool.
I love my kitchenAid pasta rollers. I want two more to complete the set. Only thing you have to watch for is tearing. If your dough doesn't come out clean, let it rest for a bit and then try again. Pasta has gluten too. :D DIL was making my simple recipe (1 cup flour,1 egg, 1 tsp salt,1 tsp pepper and enough water to bring it together) and it was just coming apart. I told her to put it down for 15-20 minutes and try again, and the second time it worked beautifully.

Kidney stones seem quite painful!
I can assure you that they are!

Lasagna for dinner. Not sure if the sourdough bread (using starter from you ;) ) will be ready. I'm doing the King Arthur Extra Tangy Sourdough recipe.

The loaves that are (presumably) rising before covering.

Not sure they look any bigger 2 hours later. The house is 65°F so on DW's advice I've put them in the oven with the light on as I found references that said the proofing setting (100°F) is too hot.

This is my first shot at bread other than 1/2 wheat 1/2 white flour pizza dough.
