Any Home Bakers Here?

I made lemon cupcakes and curd for a trial run for birthday cupcakes for a coworker. The curd was slap your face tart so I will add 1/4 cup more sugar. The cupcakes were good and I’ll keep the recipe. I didn’t have real lemons so I used bottle juice plus lemon extract.

The lemon pie I made a couple of weeks ago was very sour. I should have added more sugar to it but did not taste it prior to letting it set

Oh that slap your face tart sounds amazing! Lots of ice cream!
 
The second try at the Country Bread turned out better than the first batch. I turned the temp down, used a thermometer but my slashing botanical motifs clearly need work!
