Any Home Bakers Here?

no, stranger danger. I bet your a great person like everyone else here but no adress. (I think it was a joke but better safe than sorry)
Certainly! I would hope that no one would post their address in any public forum! Though it is useful to have a general location in your profile so it shows up under the stats and your avatar in your posts. Believe it or not, some of us are a bit forgetful even if we have understood a person's general locale in the past.

It could be! The pizza looks good
Thanks Ron! It’s the only thing I use it on. I will toss it.
I've never had that happen! But then I use a lot of olive oil, I buy it by the gallon at Costco. Berio, the kind I grew up with.
I bought the tiniest bottle possible. A gallon would definitely go bad on me.

I don't fry eggs in olive oil either. But I put it on my cooked green veggies like peas, beans, broccoli, spinach. 1/4 cup in the pizza dough. A little in the bottom of the glass pan when baking salmon. Some on the "French Fries" while they sit in the fridge for an hour before baking. And in oil and vinegar dressing. Somehow it gets used up pretty fast.

Olive oil is seasonal and pressed in the Fall. If you bought the oil and it was pressed the previous season, it would be very old by now.

Also, look for olive oil from California. We have a local label from UC Davis pressed from trees on our Campus. California is also coming up with a freshness label for olive oil. Many of the olive oils from Italy are old by the time they get here
