Any Home Bakers Here?

The Sourdough White/Whole Wheat Bread with less honey and oil....
TEXTURE...TASTE....I think it does NOT taste as good as the original recipe,
and it does not toast as well. Think I may go back to the original. Here
is a photo of the TEXTURE....seems much different than original. What do
you think Ron? Aria

The honey is important in bread like this so definitely add the honey back in.

As the sugar crystals caramelize in the bread, it helps with the browning process. The honey also feeds the yeast. Oil helps the texture too.

Each slice of bread would not have much sugar since the yeast converts it and good fat is something we need to eat

I am so happy that you asked about the TASTE. AND NOW THE REPLY
....solved my recipe. The HONEY goes back in as original. What do you
think about the OIL? You are GREAT to solve my problem. You always
have the answers. THANKS again, Aria
