Any Home Bakers Here?

hi @jnicholes ! Soup looks good, I love good egg drop soup.
Hope things are going well with your family. Staying healthy I hope.
How are the bunnies doing with the move?

Rabbis are taking it quite well. Sophie, my Netherland Dwarf Californian love grazing on the neglected lawn. The previous tenant did not mow.

The two harlequins love it too. The little stinkers like to escape And Graze different spots.

In fact, a funny thing happened. Sophie dug a huge tunnel. One day I went to check on her and she filled in the tunnel. Don't know why. One of the harlequins did the same thing.

Here are my, fresh from the oven, KAF Sourdough Buns. I made them with half AP flour and whole wheat. I scored 3 bags of whole wheat today from Kroger! I put one of everything they showed as having in my basket and got everything but KAF:( But, that's okay, I'll make use of what I got until my KA order gets here.View attachment 2115044
MMMMMM These rolls, butter, homemade jelly and a hot cup of coffee - My mouth is watering at the thought.

I don't really need a reason:) As it is I do all my grocery shopping online and constantly go back to "modify" my orders. I usually have carts scheduled for curbside pickup at two or more stores at a time. I do sometimes cancel an order if I get what I need from the first pickup. I keep waiting for the website to flash a big warning "STOP WITH ALL THE CHANGES"
I tried curbside service around the holidays. The substitutions were horrid. I was making peppermint fudge and ordered peppermints. They substituted spearmints. Really, really not the same. Now, I still use curbside, but no substitutions. It is real handy when they have all stuff.

There 5 day delay between ordering curbside and getting it here

Being in a high risk group, curbside works well for me, but, like you, I've found that not accepting substitutions is the better way to go. Most of what I want, I'd rather do without than accept the subs. I just put what I'm missing right back in the next cart or in the cart at another store.
