I've been meaning to share my recipe for Garlic Jalapeno Cheese Bread, but keep forgetting to do so! I make this in my bread machine, but you can also bake it in the oven, you might even get a better result! I haven't made this in a long time and I was still developing it, but it actually bakes up quite nice and delicious as it is right now!

Yeah, finding sprouted wheat is hard here also! I have a pretty good supply of flour right now, so I haven't looked in the stores recently to see what the supplies look like there! I hope that the supplies start to improve in your area soon!

Here in the UK catering flour is easier to find. Small bags are like gold dust. If I get another large sack it should do a couple more months.

This has given me an idea, I may do two different bread plaits to go with dinner tomorrow

I'm just thinking of doing cheese bread plaits but adding jalapenos to one. I have some garlic purée so could make some garlic butter for the tops.

That would be delicious! Sometimes we make Foccacia Bread with jalapenos, cheese & garlic!

Call your food kitchen, and ask if they accept homemade goods. Include a list of ingredients in case of allergies.

Maybe when flour is more readily available. It's pot luck if the bread flour arrives with my online food shop. I was lucky that my mum got me a 16kg sack of AP white. That is running low now. I'm going to have to source another large sack soon. Luckily the sourdough bread is working well for him. I can't say the same for my dry yeast only bread. I got a telling off for feeding it him. Ahem. And pasta.... No luck getting the gluten free pasta.

We are a completely gluten free family and I make all of our baked goods, however I have not tried to make gluten free pasta dough yet. Have you ever tried making it? In theory is should be simple, however like most GF things...it's never as simple as the recipe makes it look.

Thankfully I was able to get a few extra bags of GF pasta at the grocery store back in Feb in anticipation of Covid-19 hitting here.
