Any Home Bakers Here?

It's the same king Arthur magic sourdough recipe. Only I added some honey, and didn't add any dry yeast. Plus I used 50/50 flour and added seeds.

sourdough is supposed to be easier to digest. The thought is that the starter converts the flour and grains due to the different enzymes in it

We are a completely gluten free family and I make all of our baked goods, however I have not tried to make gluten free pasta dough yet. Have you ever tried making it? In theory is should be simple, however like most GF things...it's never as simple as the recipe makes it look.

Thankfully I was able to get a few extra bags of GF pasta at the grocery store back in Feb in anticipation of Covid-19 hitting here.

I've never tried to make any pasta. I'm not sure how well it would turn out if I tried..
I got a big bag of normal pasta. There's still half a bag left. As soon as things started getting a little crazy any kind of pasta was hard to get hold of.

Past is EASY to make and if you have a pasta machine to roll dough....
it is DOUBLE EASY. And homemade pasta cooks in a few minutes. Aria

They look MUCH BETTER than store packaged cookies. LOVE them.
Thanks for sharing. Aria
Thank you 😊 it was one of the easier cookies I've made and I love peanut butter 😋

Oh my goodness, I can't even remember the last time I had Nutter Butters! Yours look wonderful! Now I'm having cravings for peanut butter anythings..... :drool
Thank you 😊 I know how you feel, I tried putting it off because we really don't need anymore goodies in the house - but I gave in to my craving 🤷

I baked another loaf of Champlain bread yesterday. It is the current favorite here!
I've got a dutch oven coming whenever Amazon gets around to it. Then I'll try the Champlain again using more starter and/or some yeast hoping it will rise to the 6" height you get rather than the fairly flat 3" I got.

Yada yada, my rhubarb and mint will be mowed down tomorrow. Not by me, I wouldn’t.
Who is going to mow your rhurbarb? Maybe put a cattle panel around it, I bet that slows them down ;)

I love wood floors. If I could I’d put it in my whole house.
Tile in the bathrooms and the mudroom. Hardwood everywhere else.

I know the hard work that went into getting the paneling on the walls.
Is it the cheapy 4x8 thin panels? If so, not a lot of hard work.

Ours are individual one inch boards of Hard Wood...and it was a lot
of work. BUT WELL WORTH IT. Now for Many Years...no work. Aria
