I love,to bake and cook, but did not make anything fancy today. My grandsons were over and they wanted to make rice krispy treats, so that was what we did. We made half the batch as normal and the second half had melted dark chocolate stirred in...the melting, dipping chocolate. Both are good.
Rice krispy treats are very tasty!

I have made Rice Krispy treats 3 times in my life, all since I got married, lol.

When my mom passed from cancer, we (3 oldest daughters, 13,12 &10) took turns making supper and desert. My Dad always had to have a desert. I enjoyed cooking, so I made cakes, pies and bars. I left the easy stuff to my sister. My oldest sister hated cooking, so she made Rice Krispy treats, alot. Sometimes plain, sometimes with peanut butter, sometimes with just Rice Krispies, sometimes with Cheerieos, Corn Flakes, Kix or Golden Grahams added.

@penny1960 We have a camp stove like that and we love it.
We bought a pizza oven that sits on it and it makes superb pizza. I am going to try making bread in it one of these days. DH just bought a griddle for ours also, and made breakfast on it Sunday morning.
I have a pizza oven that goes on top of the pellet BBQ. I made bread in it last year but have not yet this summer

@ronott1 How do you like your pellet BBQ? What brand do you have?

DH is starting to look at them, as that is something he doesn't have yet, lol. He has a charcoal "egg" style grill, a gas grill with 3 burners and a side burner, an electric smoker, a 2 burner camp stove with griddle & pizza oven, a chicken flop and a small, tailgater propane grill.

I really like it! I have a Camp Chef and has a plate that you can move for direct flame. It is three years old now and I use it weekly. Currently I have traeger pecan pellets in the hopper. I have a new bag of Almond pellets from a local producer that I will try when the hopper is empty
