It's a 1951 d half dollar. It has Benjamin Franklin on the obverse and the liberty bell on the reverse.

Anyway, I'm feeling a lot better today. Truth be told, My sense of taste is a lot better now. Everything I or my mother makes is so flavorful!

I made some English Muffins the other day so yesterday we had French Dip sandwiches for breakfast. I got a nice beef roast on sale so we had plenty of nice med rare meat to use. It was delicious! It’s been a long time since I’ve had a good roast beef!

Beef has been so horribly expensive but there was a big sale this week. As a rule I like a roast better than steaks if it’s properly cooked. That to me means medium rare.
