Consumer Reports has been warning people about arsenic in rice for years. Even organic rice has it from the soil and brown rice is worse because it has the hull, which can hold more arsenic. They recommend no more than one serving per week. Rices from Texas have the most, Basmati has the least. I quit feeding my dogs dog food with rice figuring if only one serving a week for a full grown adult is the max we should eat, why feed my dogs rice every day twice a day. My vet does not seem concerned about rice in dog food and I have not any studies/articles on the subject. Just figured I might as well error on the side of caution.
