Duckling and I did a fruit (and vegetable) check today. The Red Delicious tree has 18+ apples this year (8 last year), her Roma plant has 8 tomatoes, and we found the rhubarb patch. I’m hoping no one messes with my property again, but I want to get a fence around the rhubarb anyway. I wish I knew if the patch could grow back again by fall.

That sounds very good! I hope you get a lot of apples and tomatoes.

I’ve been doing mine in a cast iron skillet. I roll out the dough and cut with a big coffee mug. I was using mason jar lid but they were a little too small. I’ve just got to back off a little in the rolling pin action. Aren’t they yummy though?

Our white are the ones that turn green within a few days of picking. We keep them in a dark basement. They usually don’t stick out of the ground. Red we have no problem with.
