Any Home Bakers Here?

Did you know you can Bake Sourdough Bread in a Crock Pot? You mix your dough in a bowl. Let it rest 30- 60 minutes and do the usual stretch and fold routine. Place on parchment paper in the Crock Pot...let it cook on high for l hour remove the cover place a cotton towel on top and let it cook without the cover for 1 1/2 hours. HAVE NOT tried it...but it can be done. Aria
 
cinnamon bun pound cake: beat 1 c soft butter with 3 c sugar. Mix in 1 c sour cream, 1 tsp vanilla. Add 6 eggs one at a time. Add mixture of 3 c flour and 1/2 tsp baking soda. Grease and line with parchment 2 loaf pans. Put 1/3 batter in pans. sprinkle with 1/2 of a mixture1 tbl cinnamon and 1/4 c sugar. Then 1/3 batter, then rest of cinnamon mix, last the remaining 1/3 batter. Bake at 350 for 50-70 minutes. cool completely before removing from pans. When cooled, glaze with icing: 2 tbl soft butter, 2 oz cream cheese, 1/4 c heavy cream, 1 tsp vanilla, 1 1/2 c powdered sugar. made this today and it is good! not too sweet--can leave off icing if you want
 
I made the rolls. They were delayed by not having enough eggs, and then a boat ride, but they just came out of the oven. I ate one that touched the side of the oven and burned. It was delicious! This might be my best batch of these. Now, I feel like I need to make a batch of cinnamon rolls because this recipe makes amazing cinnamon rolls.

I made the rolls. They were delayed by not having enough eggs, and then a boat ride, but they just came out of the oven. I ate one that touched the side of the oven and burned. It was delicious! This might be my best batch of these. Now, I feel like I need to make a batch of cinnamon rolls because this recipe makes amazing cinnamon rolls.

That sounds very much like a recipe I printed out the other day. Haven't made it yet, but it's on my "to do" list. Thanks for sharing that!
