Lol good cause if they go well for you i might surprise him with a few ducks for his birthday in july. He had a goose named Lucy when he was young as well lol i sometimes wonder if thats why he named our daughter Lucy.

If he did, you might not want your daughter to know that when she grows up. Can't you just hear her complaining to her friends, "You think you have it bad? My dad named me after a goose." LOL

Lmao we have that covered if its the case he has an aunt thats named Lucy as well lol i have never met her but it is a family name as well thankfully lol. I think its funny he tells me all about the goose i think he was attached lol he also calls our daughter Lucy Goosie lol so i an pretty sure it was becaus eof the goose. Lol howeber our son has it easy lol he picked the middle name this time and named im after my dad lol.

That's what I keep hearing! It will be fun to see how they are different from the chicken eggs with my recipes.

Okay I got a question......it's just me and my wife....you have to buy a eight pack of hot dog buns....we usually only use three or four and the rest go to waste....is there a good way to freeze them....you would think they would sell more stuff geared toward couples....like a four pack....geez....Phil

We just toss them in a freezer bag and then use them in a week or so. We're in the same boat with just 2 of us. Our favorite hot dogs come in a 7 pack and the buns are in an 8 pack.

Sometimes I just give the extra odd bun to the chickens as a treat. Or make sandwiches or bread crumbs.

We just close the original buns package and toss that in the freezer, they will keep well for a few weeks. They also make great toast

I also freeze my homemade rolls and biscuits, they taste almost just made when defrosted and reheated.

When I kept ducks,I loved eating the eggs, they were creamier tasting!!

The Gump Bread was pretty tasty, your basic soft white bread. It will make really good toast for breakfast tomorrow.

One thing I would do different next time, the recipe didn't say what size pan to use so I used my larger bread pans and there really wasn't enough dough to get the height I wanted. Next time I'll use my 8.5" pans.

Made a loaf of Gump Bread today.

Also made some shortbread mincemeat cookies.
