I got bored and this happened.... I used a mix of brown and dark unrefined sugar as I had no caster sugar left. Turned out a nice Banana bread

Coldest, snowiest day yet this winter, with a week of frigid temps to come. What else to do but hang out on my favorite forum. And cook a bit. I'm Instant Potting some butternut squash. I keep forgetting that I have a bunch of them in the basement.

I'll have to do some potatoes this weekend. Got a lot of those too.

I shoveled a path to the coop. Don't know why I bothered! The snow has the two girls who are laying taking the day off, it seems.

I love to cook/bake when the weather is cold and nasty outside. Warms the house and makes it smell good and keeps me from going stir crazy

I baked two pullman loafs yesterday a 16 and 12
will use half of one to make ham and cheese sandwiches

Well yes but have to get the cream cheese out early enough to warm and make cheese cake but have been sleeping too late
