Deer love roses, thorns and all. Catmint is the only thing that I have found that the deer will leave alone.

Here they leave the iris, day lily, poppies, marigolds, mums and dahlias alone usually. Absolutely love petunias.

Here they would leave yellow flowers until last but once everything else was gone, they ate them too.

Did any of you by chance watch the History channel yesterday? They have a really good series called "The Food That Built America". It was interesting to hear the background on things like ketchup, Kellogg's cereal, Coca Cola, Hershey's chocolate, pizza and lots more.
