Any Home Bakers Here?

Morning Bakers Pizza here tonight need to get some herb from under the snow in the garden make a Pesto may be an oregano one of the perennial I have or maybe a chive?
PIZZA DOUGH

"This is a great recipe when you don't want to wait for the dough to rise. You just mix it and allow it to rest for 5 minutes and then it's ready to go!! It yields a soft, chewy crust. For a real treat, I recommend you use bread flour and bake it on a pizza stone, but all-purpose flour works well too. Enjoy!"

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 (.25 ounce and a bit more) package active dry yeast
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon white sugar
  • 1 1/2 cup warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)
  • 3 cups bread flour
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
Directions

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F convection oven. In a medium bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water. Let stand until creamy, about 10 minutes.

Stir in flour, salt and oil. Beat until smooth. Let rest for 5 minutes.

Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface and pat or roll into a round. Transfer crust to a lightly greased pizza pan or baker's peel dusted with cornmeal. Spread with desired toppings and bake in preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until golden brown. Let baked pizza cool for 5 minutes before serving.

I have several dictionaries, including the Compact Oxford English Dictionary. Even so, it is a HUGE book with such tiny print that they send a magnifying glass so you can actually read it. What makes it so big is that the entries have really complete etymologies and histories of when the word first began appearing in print.

I got it on sale for $200. Yeah, I'm kind of a word nerd.

Breakfast cookies just out of oven. Cashew butter this time instead of peanut butter

Let me know how the cashew butter works out for you!

I made a new batch a couple days ago. Used coconut, dried apricots and slivered almonds for the mix ins. Also tried maple syrup in place of the honey. They turned out tasty, it's fun to switch things up!

Cashew butter actually lets the flavor of the banana come through more. The only sweetener is from the water after softening the raisins in the microwave. Didn’t like orange extract in first batch, vanilla much better.
