Pies for the Les schwab guys...note the feather, at least it didn't make it into the pie. (cheap foil pans, so I don't have to come back for my dishes.)

My weekly loaf of KA sourdough and a batch of English Muffins are on the schedule for today.

My are is really sore today and I can’t raise it above the shoulder
My step sister had arm pain for her second shot while doing the "wait in the car" thing. The person who came by to check that everyone was still alive told her to drink a lot of water and rub the injection site a lot. Unfortunately this was relayed a few days after I had my second shot. I don't know it that helps only soon after getting the shot (I had no pain for a couple of hours) or if it will help later on as well.

I don't expect we will ever get that lucky with appliances again.
Nope, not a chance in Hades. The one up side when you do need to replace them is your electric bill will decrease.

Not sure but I think pfizer sp will be what I would want.
That is what we got. Mostly what is being given here is that or Moderna though at least so far you don't know which until you get to the vaccination place. J&J has been in short supply.

I know the experts are pushing "whatever is available" because all 3 available in the USA are very effective against hospitalization or death, those being their primary concern.

But, the Pfizer and Moderna are 90+% effective in keeping you from getting any infection or only getting an asymptomatic case. J&J is 66+% effective against a moderate to severe case. Seems to me the goal should be to prevent any infection at all since we have vaccines that will do that unlike the annual flu vaccine. Other than places that don't have the ability to keep the Pfizer and Moderna at the proper very low temp, I can't see an argument for getting the J&J.

It’s also mostly rum.
That might explain the thin quality of the frosting :D I bet it is tasty.
