We had company over on Friday night and made PIZZA! They all love our pizza - DH bought a pizza dome for out camp stove and it makes fantastic pizza in 7 minutes each.

I made a batch of each of our pizza crust recipes - one makes 2-12" pizzas, the other one makes 3-12" pizzas. I figured we could taste test side by side that way and see which one was better. Since DH put the pizzas out on the table as he cooked them, and I was in the kitchen making the, we didn't know which was which recipe, lol. I like them both, but there is difference in the crusts. One is chewier and the other gets a little crispier.

Thank you. I was able to find it in the docs. Unfortunately I don’t have rye, a sour dough starter, spelt flour(actually had to google to figure out what this was) or bread flour. :gig
You don’t need to use those. I just use ap flour and whole wheat. I bought a Small bag of the rye flour, it was really expensive and I don’t really think it made any difference. I did use it up but I won’t replace it. I can’t find spelt either so I just use 72 grams of whole wheat and 487 grams of regular all purpose flour.

This recipe works great for me because I can get my head around the timing. Meanwhile I watched you tube videos to get some info on handling wetter dough, it’s really not very hard but there are a few tricks. Having said that I’m trying another recipe today that will spend time in the fridge, I’m wondering how much different the flavor will be. I’ve heard low temps are more favorable to the lactic and acetic acid bacteria which results in more sour tang.

I ended up making some honey oat bread. It’s my first attempt at sandwich bread and I’m really happy with how it turned out!

I made blueberry scones today. Another checkmark on my bucket list! This recipe actually made ten scones. Never had scones before; didn't know what to expect. Thought they would be crunchy like biscuits but they are soft and sweet! With a sweet glaze. Very yummy!
