Any Home Bakers Here?

Making bread for hubby in the bread maker. It's a recipe I got from a neighbor, with minor adjustments so it works in my machine a little better than the original recipe.

I need to take my dog to the vet today for her annual wellness exam and update on rabies vaccine. We need to go for a walk so that I can get a poop sample. She always gives me a "look" when I scoop it up, as if to say, "Geez, mom! Now I can't sniff it tomorrow. "

Tried this recipe today, I'll never use that canned Manwich stuff, this is good!

Sloppy Joes in the Slow Cooker
(makes enough for 8 sandwiches)

1.5 pounds ground beef
1 pound ground pork
1 small onion, chopped
1 small bell pepper, chopped
1 - 8oz can tomato sauce
1/2 Cup water
1/2 Cup catsup
1 Tablespoon brown sugar
2 Tablespoons cider vinegar
2 Tablespoons dry yellow mustard
1 Tablespoon chili powder
1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 Cup flour

Brown the beef, pork, onion and bell pepper in a large skillet until meat is no longer pink. Drain well.

Place meat mixture in 4 1/2 quart slow cooker. Stir in remaining ingredients.

Cover and cook on high 4 hours. (I turned the heat down to low after about 3 hours.)

Serve on hamburger buns. Can freeze leftover meat mixture for up to 1 month.
