Any Home Bakers Here?

I followed Faith's instructions on Pratt Family Homestead. She's a young teen.
I used regular veg oil, I'll try olive oil next time.
Ingredients:
1 egg
1 tablespoon white vinegar
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 cup oil
salt and pepper to taste. I skipped the pepper, didn't put in much salt.

Dump everything but the oil into the jar you are going to mix it in then slowly add the oil as you blend. If you don't add it slowly it won't emulsify. Keep adding oil until it gets as thick as you want it. Less oil, thinner mayo, more oil, thicker mayo. I added more than the 1 cup in the end.

Thanks for sharing that video Bruce. I'll have to try it the next time I need mayo!

My sourdough loaf! The scoring went a little haywire, but it tastes great and I'm quite proud of it.
