Any Home Bakers Here?

It's 90 here. NO BAKING TODAY. Aria
Too hot to bake here too. Feels-like temps in the triple-digits for days. Tomorrow, expected to be over 113. We are AC hibernating. I bought a one-qt ice cream maker! Gonna try it out this afternoon!
I was looking at the compressor type ice cream makers..I have made some awesome ice cream before, but the weak link is always the salt, the ice, and getting a good freeze..I’d love a two quart one..

Great timing! I was just going to ask for your croissant recipe when I saw this!!

Thank You!
More than welcome! It’s really a spot on tutorial..consistent, perfect results. Takes practice though..really beat the butter so the whole thing is malleable, that way it spreads evenly and you get perfect layers..edit..don’t let the multi day recipe intimidate..flavor is much more awesome from the trips to the refrigerator, and the dough becomes a magical joy to work with..oh, best tiramisu recipe in the Il Fornaio book..edit again..I added some croissant pics to show the insides..

Mine has no compressor and cost under $50. Freeze the mixing bowl, chill the ingredients, let it churn for about 30 minutes. Produces soft-serve but you can freeze in the freezer if you want a harder product.

Sorry, wanted to add that no ice or salt is required.
