Can you cook from scratch in it - or do you use the pre-packaged ready to bake stuff?
I'm thinking for chicken wings - I have alot of wings from butchering in the freezer just waiting to be fried up.
I read somewhere that you can't put "wet" things in there; like wet battered chicken.

That's what I thought. All the pictures show frozen fries, Banquet Fried Chicken, and stuff like that being cooked.

Those with the Air Fry lid, what are you cooking in there?
Or even those with an Instant pot, what do you cook in there? I see mine becoming a rice cooker ... and I already had one of those.

You can cook breaded stuff in an air fryer.

The Instant pot is a pressure cooker. I have a lot of pressure cooker recipes! One is for baby back ribs. 15 to 20 minutes under pressure and browned in the BBQ with sauce and you have the most amazing ribs.

Try a rock that is made up of many small rocks, like sedimentary rock.
The ledge here is sedimentary, I think it has vaulted 90° as it breaks off in blocks horizontally. Maybe I should see if there is anything interesting in the "face" the next time a piece comes off.

If I'd known how much I'd love it, I would have gotten one for my 8qt IP
No time like the present!

@jnicholes Did you offer your dad a dollar for it?
It probably isn't worth that much seeing as how it is a half dollar. Google search says the range is $0.50 to $12, the high number being for mint condition.

@bruceha2000 I didn't see that it was a Kennedy Half dollar, I thought it was a Liberty dollar. Oh well, give the old man a 100% profit and buy it for a buck, right.

I need to pick apples and can up some applesauce. They are getting over ripe and making a mess. I may try a batch of applesauce with some crab apples added to my regular apples. The crab apple tree is loaded this year.

Kinda neat to get one from the first year of production.
Did you check if it was one of the collectables or not? some of them are quite valuable. Most are not, of course.

The silver content makes it more expensive.

O course if you have one in mint condition it will be worth more.

I have bunch of them.

It’s a 1971 d, not an s proof. Not a collectible one. Also not silver, because in 1971 they stopped making them out of silver.

I actually have a 1966 silver half dollar.

Here’s how you can tell if a coin is silver or not. Same applies to dimes and quarters. Dimes and quarters from 1964 and earlier are 90% silver. Nickels with a P, D, or S above Monticello are 35% silver. These are dated 1942-1945, called wartime silvers.

Silver on the left. This applies to quarters, dimes, and half dollars.

All these have silver in them. In total I have 1 silver peace dollar, 2 silver half dollars (one Kennedy and one Franklin,) 6 silver quarters, 10 silver dimes (3 regular and 7 mercury dimes,) and 6 wartime silver nickels.

Good collecting!

You might want to get some of the plastic cases to store them in.
