Any Home Bakers Here?

S/he hatched around 4:45 this morning!

My baking consisted of my sandwich getting hot in my backyard all day. It is so hot here.

I know what you are saying I live in Hollister, Florida.

How's this for a "Glass half full guy": a friend just got diagnosed with Stage 4 Liver Cancer. He is relieved to find out that it is not hereditary and his kids aren't at a high risk of getting it. That was his biggest worry about the diagnosis. He is very optimistic about his future.

That is different.

Did y'all get affected by Fred at all?

Just some rain and some wind.
I picked a whole lot of peaches last week, and I can't eat them fast enough, they're starting to rot! Other than peach cobbler, crisp, or pie, what are everyone's favorite recipes?

I like to put peaches in skillet with butter and put on plate with a meal.

They are also good on a salad.

You could can or freeze them.

Bakers good morning one and all!

Looks like everyone is busy with their baking.

Have a great day!

Have you ever had grilled peaches? They are awesome!

I need to get an air fryer lid too!

That way I can donate the Presto air fryer to save space
If you have an 8 qt Instant Pot and a 6 qt, get the bigger one if you can. I can see using the air fryer lid a LOT, and for the 6 qt, it'll make enough for DH and me. But we like the leftovers, and there won't be much.
I'm still going back and forth on whether I should get the IP lid or an actual air fryer.
Depends on how big a batch you want to make. I bet and actual air fryer makes more at a time than my IP lid.
Those with the Air Fry lid, what are you cooking in there?
Or even those with an Instant pot, what do you cook in there? I see mine becoming a rice cooker ... and I already had one of those.
I flat out LOVE my IP. I liked the 6 qt so much, I got an 8 qt too, so I could do larger batches of stuff like bone broth and cooking dried beans. I cook a lot of rice, but don't have a rice cooker. I made the best ever beef stew in my IP.

So far, I've only done potatoes and green beans with my air fryer. Both were excellent. I haven't tried the other settings (roast, bake, broil, reheat) yet. It also has a dehydrate setting, but I have a dehydrator, so I don't know how much I'll use that setting.
