Any Home Bakers Here?

OK, guys. I need some assistance with my bread. I put the loaves in the oven, but I forgot to spray the loaf pans. I’m worried that the bread will stick to the loaf pans when I take it out of the oven. How would I go about removing the bread from the loaf pans?
If the pans are non stick, they will likely release fine. If not, let them cool in the pan. If the pans are non stick, use a plastic picnic knife to release the sides then use a flexible spatula to release the bottom.

Do not stress! The bread will be fine.

Thanks for the advice. I’m not stressing, I just forgot.

Todays bread, 50/50 einkorn flour loaf. And 2 little 1lb fruit breads for No2 son.

So .... This biscuit recipe calls for 5 c bread flour. This is going to make a LOT of biscuits, lol! There are only two of us. Guess they will freeze? Anyway, only 4 c would mix in. Then I oiled the bowl, like I would for yeast bread although the recipe didn't say to. I'm just used to following recipes exactly!!! Anyway, still waiting for it to rise. Trying to remember. When I poke it with my finger, it's done when the hole remains, right? 🤔

I read something that said that dough is ready when, if you tap it, it springs back slowly like someone waking up from a nap. If it springs back fast like someone turning after they're tapped on the back, it's not ready. If the tap doesn't spring at all, it's overproofed and the person is dead :lau

That will work!

Which biscuit recipe are you using? Most of them use baking soda or powder so do not have a first rise
