You are all getting my bread baking and experimenting juices flowing here - I don’t even know where to start!! Beautiful rolls and breads!!

Blooie you love to bake now because you have your very own support group! I wasn’t much of a baker either but when you have gurus to help get terrific results it’s a game changer!

Yesterday was a LONG baking day. About 7 hours to make the Leicester cheese before putting it in the cheese press. It’s still pressing until 5:45 PM today.

Did you use unpasteurized milk? It is cool that in Idaho you can buy unpasteurized milk at the stores - it is illegal to sell unpasteurized milk in Wisconsin unless you buy it directly from the farmer for your own use.

No, I use pasteurized milk. I just have to make sure it’s not “ultra-pasteurized.”

I just ordered some Thermophilic starter and some fromage blanc starter. I’m gonna try making fromage blanc cheese when it gets here.

I wonder what you use fromage blanc for in cooking……
