Okay lookie what I found.

I wonder if you ran that other stuff through the blender or coffee grinder if it would take less time and still give you a less gritty product to bake with?
I don't have any or I would try it.

Seems the biggest problem would be getting the popcorn to the grinder before eating it all

Question for you all...

Yesterday I had a roast and veggies in the crock pot. It wasn't done in time for dinner last night so we had something else. What would you suggest for the roast? Not sure whether to just warm it up as is or make something out of it (like soup).

A whole roast would be a lot of meat in soup? I would make soup for dinner tonite and remove some of the meat for sandwiches for lunch.

I think I'll take half of it and warm it up for dinner tonight and use the rest for soup. We still have some chili and ham & potato soup on hand so something "solid" might be a nice change.

What are you up to today @sunflour ?

I tend to warm roast up by making gravy and then slicing the roast into it and warming It in the gravy. Stops it drying out and is really yummy on crusty bread rolls, especially if you make an onion gravy. :-)

The Veges I'd probably try warming up in the oven, see if you can get a bit of a crisp to them?

The roasted vegetables sound really good, thanks!

I was planning on making gravy but it will be on the side. DH likes to pour it on everything and I'm more of a dipper, lol. Hadn't thought about making the gravy with onions though...not a bad idea!

The grinding popcorn post pushed me over the edge--I have had a kitchenaid grinder in my wish list on Amazon for quite some time now. It is shipping to me today!

I did find it in the used(open box) section for 20 bucks less which helps.

I will report on it when I use it.

Sometimes it doesn't take much, right Ron?

Looking forward to your review on it!

I just tracked it and it is supposed to be here on Friday--just in time for weekend baking!

Congratulations - my what a deal. Never found the used/open box section - is that the window that opens up when you select and item showing places with a lower price?
Or a Secret Section?

Please update us when you get it going.
